What were your favorite firearms announcements for shot show 2025 ?

I'm actually disappointed that S&W is only giving us a few token guns without the dumbass locks. What I'd like to see is to have them make the locks totally optional. (y)

After all, they offer their striker-fired semi autos with or without thumb safeties and they also don't require safety locks on their semi autos. I they're so damn important, why don't they put them on their semi-autos?

I think they just like to **** with us.

My favorites are the Lipsey's S&W Mountain Guns

The new Lipsey's Titanium Ultimate Carry J-frames

And, while I feel no need to buy one, the Daewoo K rifles looked kinda cool

as does the T48 FAL

I also like the HK CC9 that was featured, but that wasn't a new release.

What catches your attention about it?

Not that it looks bad or doesn't have a nice combo of features but the field is awash with 9mm pistols in general and Glock clones & copies in particular.

Personally, I usually stick with the bigger name brands.

I must be out of touch. I haven’t heard any big announcements from SHOT that caught my attention. Some of that could be the result of pre-show announcements and some is probably that nothing particularly new was announced with respect to the type of firearms that most interest me.

Retro S&W model 10 & model 36
Lipsey's Mountain Gun
Taurus 850 & 650 revolvers
Henry Supreme mag fed lever action
Colt Python & Anaconda optic plate

Underwhelming, but exactly as anticipated.

The S&W revolvers without locks are nice (but that was also announced earlier).

The $199 FCU Glock clone that uses Glock parts isn't something I want or need, but is an item that will continue to fuel the Glock Clone space.

Not really much to think about or to excite us. The Aimpont/Glock is fine, but meh. The days of SHOT being places for splashy launches are over. It is more about the range experience between vendors and agency representatives, and the relationships they build by meeting in person. Which isn't a bad thing for the law enforcement agencies that send folks out to the show. It is just boring for us civilians! Plenty of socializing, schmoozing, persuading, and peddling products still got done, but it is more sales than new products.
