I have a gen 3 G19 from which I'm trying to remove the trigger pin. Actually, I just want to move it enough to remove the slide release lever (SRL). I'm rather frustrated with this particular frame.
I'm aware of the admonition to not use a hammer and I usually have to wiggle the SRL just a bit - no more than a minute - to free the trigger pin. But I've been at this one for twenty minutes now and my fingers are getting sore from grasping that SRL and wiggling. So, while I'm giving my fingers a break, I thought I'd ask the community here...
Is it pure luck that gets the SRL in just the right spot to free the trigger pin or is there a secret trick to manipulating the SRL?
