The newer gun is called the Mega 2000. 9mm. Mine is an earlier gun I bought used. Imported by EAA. I’m still doing research to see when my gun was made, and year imported.
Basic info:
CZ variant/clone. Nitride finish. All steel frame and slide. 34.8oz. 4.5” barrel. (cold hammer forged). Fixed steel sights.
Can be shot double action or single action. No de-cocker. Can be carried “cocked and locked” if so chosen. The safety is opposite direction than a CZ-75 if that matters. (doesn’t bother me.)
Came with two 15 round Sarsilmaz magazines. Does accept CZ-75 mags also.
I replaced the grips with KSD grips. ($65.00). The look and feel great. Trigger feel single action was smooth/crisp. Double action feel smooth but long. Overall trigger feel was great.
Sights were simple and easy to get on target. Not much space in the rear sights which I like. I’m either on target or not.
Overall feel of the gun while shooting felt real nice too. Very ergonomic. I did notice more muzzle flip while shooting, than say my Beretta 90-Two, but it’s just the way the gun sits in my hand. Returning to target not an issue at all.
I like the looks of this gun and am really impressed how it feels on my hands in general.
I am not sure if TR Imports still can get this gun or it might be through SAR USA. If you can find a new one for under $500.00 or used for under $400.00, that would be a great deal.

Check out the CZ clone area of the CZ forum. Someone there will know.

Sars have a good reputation.
Yeah a friend pretty much "collects"(not as a collector but just likes them and has a TON) the "off" brands foreign brands like these..He doesnt own a single "name brand" or what ever you want to call it..."big name" pistol...he has all EAA,Canik,SAR,Tanfoglio/witness,etc,etc,etc...thats all he owns and ive shot quite a few.,some extensively...and they work great..so far he hasnt had to worry about parts or customer service because none have needed any parts or service..just more mags :) ....and thats what I hear most people ask/think/or keeps them away from these guys is...what happens if my gun breaks,i need parts or service...I cant answer that.

If you go to YouTube, the following reviews are very informative on this gun.
Sootch00, Mrgunsngear and Graham Baates.
Great alternative to the CZ-75 or add to one’s collection. Fits CZ-75 type holsters too. Mine is leather.
