I'm getting a P365 tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on reloads. Not so much charge weight but bullet style and OAL.

For carry, I'm planning on Federal HST 147 gr - any thoughts on that?

If you look at the test results from Lucky Gunner, I would go with the 147 Winchester Ranger T series.

Congrats on the new pistol. I don't have any informed ammo advice, but really curious about your experience with that gun. I've had my eye on it. Would love a range report about whatever you decide on range ammo.

For EDC 9x19, Federal HST 124 and Hornady Critical Defense in 135 +P are the two most consistent penetration and expansion.
Hornady Critical Duty best rated for expansion AFTER penetrating a hard barrier (good LEO choice).
Federal HST 147 a good choice.
Truth be told, all this is theoretical as the most important factor is accuracy and HOPE YOU NEVER NEED IT.
IMO, load same as you carry or load soft shooting heavy bullet if for competition.

Two NEW EDC loads look super!
Federal HST 147 +P and UB's choice of the Ranger 147 T series

If carrying 147, then any 147 running about 900fps will do. A RN makes things simple & reliable.

I`ve been running Berrys 124 plated RN, with CFE-Pistol 4.9gr w/OAL 1.150 WW primer.
Runs awesome in the Sig P365. This same reload runs perfect in every 9mm i own, too.

As for my SD carry ammo,
Federal HST 124gr. Winchester PDX1 124gr.
Both are flawless in my Sig P365.

I`m very impressed with the P365. Not one hiccup in well over 3,000+ rounds now.
I was thinkin about replacing the RSA just due to how many rounds, but its still running strong!

I have a P365... makes sure you strip it down and clean it really good!
Oil the barrel, slide, rails, keep it wet with oil... these guns are tight!
Also, put a film of gun grease on the barrel lug. (i use Lucus Red&Tacky)
Spray the inside of the mags with some dri-lube... it helps w/break in.
Check post #10 for my reload info.

Federal HST 147
I`ve heard a couple people had issues with it jamming the hollow point into the feed ramp.
So be on the look out for that... i personally think it was more operator error than anything else.

Good luck with your P365, i think they are a fantastic gun... i just adore mine.
My G26 & G43 have been retired to the gun safe since i bought the P365. It just works!

Don't know bout reloads but I carry the HST 124gr
I read a review of the P365 using the 147 gr somewhere on the Interwebs. It's worth what I paid...

I'm not hung up on bullet weight so maybe I'll try a box of 124 gr. In the end, the guns will carry HST but shoot reloads. I sure can't afford to play pistol games using factory ammo.

We bought some Hornady Critical Duty - man, that stuff is expensive. We have just enough to test for function and load up all the mags. We sure won't be shooting the stuff!

We also bought a few boxes of Fiocchi to just cycle the guns.

I'm not sure where to get case lots of HST. California, you know...

Since I already have 8# of WSF, I think I'll load Precision Delta 124 gr FMJ to 1.150" with 5.0 gr WSF. Seems like a good place to start.

I'll say this about the 365, its super easy to load for. Mine has eaten everything and not missed a beat, including one of my favorite bullets, a 100gr SWC. Runs it like a champ, that bullet chokes my CZ's to death and my XDM will have the occasional stumble with it too.

I haven`t found any factory ammo yet that my 365 hasnt performed flawlessly with.
Even my reloads, too, shoot in this pipsqueak 100% flawlessly. My G26 is now retired :(

I use round nose RMR 124 grain jacket bullets in my reloads, the normal overall length 1.160 that most loading manuals suggest, they work perfect. I use 7 grains of AA#7 powder cci 500 primers, I have over 8000 rounds thru my 365 not a single issue. I also load 124 grain rmr hollow points but don't normally shoot much of them because of the bullet cost.

I use factory federal 124 grain hst +P for self defense.
