Hello all,
I have basically no experience with a reflex sight on a pistol. The only reflex sight I have shot through was the little one that was mounted on top of my ACOG on my service weapon. This will be for my FNX-45 Tactical which will eventually get a surefire light and silencer once it gets out of jail.

I like the extra features of the Holosun (shake awake, slightly larger glass, seems glass may be a touch clearer), but I like that the Trijicon is made in good ole USA and seems tough as nails. I don't care about battery replacement being a pain and price is not a determining factor. This will be a range/home defense gun... or WWIII gun if it comes to that.

Any thoughts? I am open to opinions, and I am not dead set on these two options. I have heard wonderful things about both of these sights. If you have experience with them both please tell me why you prefer one over the other.
It seems RMRs have better physical reliability, as in less likely to physically break compared to holosuns. However, it seems holosuns have better electronic reliability, as in the battery always stays in contact unlike RMRs which have dimmed or temporarily turned off under recoil or racking the slide.
