Thinking about getting a flat faced trigger for my G19 or 34 (gen 3). I just want to try one to see how they feel. I’m looking at either Zev or CMC. Anyone have experience with these or want to recommend another brand?

In my opinion training is what makes a difference not the equipment, I'm fortunate to know a couple of people that can shoot a stock Glock much better than the average guy with a Glock with a bunch of fancy parts in it.Does anyone have any objective evidence that these flat triggers get rounds on target faster and more accurately, or is this just bling? Honest question.
I do think they look cool.
I'd like to hear Mr. Willy's opinion, if he happens to walk through here.
I've only used the Kineti-Tech trigger shoes, which I've installed onto my own existing trigger-bars to save some money
Another vote for Kineti-Tech. I have several of their #3 style and use my existing trigger bar.
Thank you to everyone who has replied so far. I hadn’t heard of the Kineti-Tech or the tangodown/Vickers, so that’s food for thought. I guess no one has used CMC?
Honestly,Another kineti-tech fan here. #3 for the 43 and I tried the #4 for the 19-4. Liked ‘em both, can’t tell much difference. I bought the shoe with Trigger bar and polished them myself.
Thanks to everyone. I shelved this project for a while and then came back to it. Ended up with an Apex and have been very pleased with it. I like the feel of the wider trigger.Thinking about getting a flat faced trigger for my G19 or 34 (gen 3). I just want to try one to see how they feel. I’m looking at either Zev or CMC. I'll start by saying I have nothing to do with Kineti-tech and normally wouldn't respond to a post as above or the other trigger shoe threads you've posted the same thing in...but since you quoted me in your post here.Honestly,
The safety (little tab) broke after about 1 year of use. I sent it back to Kineti-Tech, mysteriously the letter was ripped open, they accepted the "torn apart" envelope and I lost about $50. I'm never buying from them again.

I won't buy from them anymore, especially because they were the ones that told me to send a certified letter, they were the ones that accepted the "torn apart" envelope, and I was the one that had to pay for shipping.
Thank you for your input, you are correct about the insurance, but also, Kineti-Tech accepted the envelope, that means they assumed the responsibility confirming the envelope was delivered as intended.I'll start by saying I have nothing to do with Kineti-tech and normally wouldn't respond to a post as above or the other trigger shoe threads you've posted the same thing in...but since you quoted me in your post here.
Sorry to hear you had an issue with your trigger and sending it back. Sounds like paying a couple of extra bucks for some insurance might have been a good idea.
I did have an issue a while back when I ordered 2 kineti-tech shoes. After they had shipped and started to move through USPS at some point the tracking number showed they weren't moving after a couple days. I called Kineti-tech and explained the issue. Received a new tracking # that same day and 2 days later had my 2 trigger shoes in hand.
FWIW, I have at least 10 Kineti-tech shoes and prefer them to be the same (#3) and have many 1000s of rounds thru several of them with no issues
Hope you get things worked out
My objective was just to inform other buyers that if it happened to me, it can happen to anyone and since it's a firearm safety issue, I wouldn't want it to happen to other people when they need it most. May I ask you which brands are the other triggers you said you had the safety issue with?I was also quoted and I've bought ~8 trigger shoes from Kineti-Tech without problems. I turned toward Kineti-Tech after having two Glock trigger shoes' trigger safety break.
Sorry for your shipping loss. I don't know shipping laws as it applies to USPS, but did find USPS' webpage dealing with insurance, here:
https://www.usps.com/ship/insurance-extra-services.htm
Regarding USPS laws/regulations, I don't believe a recipient merely accepting a package constitutes liability on any one's part.
Could you please put it in order from which trigger you liked best to worst in your opinion? That would help a lot. Here are my favorites pictured
CMC is one of the worst triggers out there., ZEV and Apex are also borderline
Take a look at:
Arsenal Democracy (the absolute best) Good luck getting one though. I waited months to get mine
Overwatch Precision
Boogeyman Customs (Also Amazing)
Ranger Proof Swag
Tactical Pontoon
Agency
Fowler Industries
