Looks like all the recalled rifles were made in 2017.
There is also a .PDF list you can download showing all the affected serial numbers.
Handy for the folks who buy used guns every now and then (or take them on trade).

I was just looking at one at a local shop. I called them and got the serial number and it wasn't in the list

Keltek's website said that they'll take care of any problems.

I actually stopped by to see what the consensus is one these guns? I've given up on Ruger till later in the year.

What's the verdict? And what's the price?

I really wanted to like the Sub2000. I had one ~5 years back in 9mm and the biggest problem I had was the stock to cheek weld was so bad the you couldn’t actually use even low profile ear muffs. The front sight was flimsy and the internal parts got dirty as all heck because of the blowback system and all the parts are exposed.

However, the gun was accurate and it was reliable — once KelTec fixed the barrel under warranty. I had zero issues with operation. It went bang when you pulled the trigger. The folding concept was worked fine and it is definitely one of the lighter PCCs out there.

At the time I think you could get them for like $250 depending on grip model and caliber.

The design of this carbine is from a time when “feature” bans were popular and PCCs didn’t really exist on the market. A lot has changed in the couple decades since.

If I wanted a cheap-ass PCC today, I’d probably get a Hi Point or an Extar EP9. Honestly, I’ve owned 4 KelTecs — 3 have had to go back to the factory. I’m just not a fan of their quality.
