Haven't shot my Glock 43 in about 5 weeks. I've recently purchased a PPS M2 and I've concentrated on shooting it. The G43 has been a great shooter for me and was a more accurate pistol in my hands than a gen 4 Glock 19 that I no longer own. I really like it and it is my edc.

So today I took the Walther and the Glock 43 to shoot side by side. I started with the Walther for a mag and then switched to the G43. There was a noticeable difference in the recoil between the two. The Walther, though bigger, is still a slim single stack. It shoots much more like a bigger pistol.

I've never thought the G43 was difficult to shoot or in any way unmanageable. And I still don't. The main take is that I didn't realize how nice the Walther was to shoot until I shot them side by side. It's a soft shooter for such a small pistol.

The PPS really feels great in hand. My only complaint is the high bore axis. They could make this gun smaller.

As a shooter, the PPS is way better I think. The G43 carries slightly better though, and that has to count for something.

As a combo, the 365 beats them both BUT there have been reliability issues. While I find that it runs great based on my sample of one, I have to acknowledge the issues. Once there realibility issues have been worked out, if they haven’t already (I have grown bored with the 365 threads, too repetitive and contentious) there will be only one ring to rule them all.

Today I put a mag through the G43X of a friend. Nice shooter, but way bigger than a 365. Slim though, and quite comparable to the PPS with more capacity. Liked it, it’s certainly an option.

PPS M2 is a superior pistol to the G43. You are right it is much softer shooting, has better capacity, a better trigger, multiple capacity mags, I really appreciate the striker bar? (the thing that protrudes when you pull the trigger). Mine actually had the RMSc red dot which really made it sweet.

My only problem with the PPS and why I sold it was that the trigger guard beat up my knuckle worse than my Glocks. It also didn't look as easy to dremel down as the Glocks so I sold it.

G43 with a trigger guard undercut resides in my pocket.

The G43, being lighter and smaller, is a better option in my belly band while running. Though, I find that it throws off my stride and taxes my back. But that's just me needing an LCP or NAA mini. But the PPS M2, with the aggressive front serrations tears up my stomach while running.

Because of the plastic striker guide, I've picked up some snap caps for dry fire with the PPS M2. You really feel those serrations when doing a complete slingshot to eject a round and cycle the next.

Everything is a compromise.

I didn’t like the higher bore axis of the PPS M2, but the first time I shot it from the factory the rear sight popped out & the second time I shot it the front sight popped out. I know this is easily fixable- but no thanks. I’m no Glock fanboy but the G43 has become my trusted CCW.
