Just picked up this little baddy and realized it’s a 000 serial number. Any extra value in that or is it just a cool factor? It’s the 19X MOS with a threaded barrel. Pictured here with a Radian Afterburner / Ramjet

Im not trying to be a pain, at all. Just curious as to why people dont post serials.Honestly I don’t really have a good answer, I’m trying to educate myself on the etiquette of posting gun photos and I figured that was a safe bet? Does it not matter to have the serial number fully exposed? What are your thoughts on it?
Dude I grew up in the 90's when the WWW was literally the Wild Wild West. Everything past 2003 is a shell of its former self.Actually, I'm scared of EVERYONE on the interweb -- including the alphabet offices.
makes sense, I can see that it doesn’t really matter. I guess I just have a little PTSD from living in the communist country of Kalifornia for so many years and am now tasting what actual freedom is.Im not trying to be a pain, at all. Just curious as to why people dont post serials.
1) theres not federal registry, So its not like you post it, I can find out your info
2) for those states with registries, its like license plates. Only LEO can run the data
3) Most people go to the "someone can report it stolen and take it from me", but the person reporting would have to prove they owned it, and HOPE you dont/cant show a sales receipt for it.
4) Some lean on the "Gov is collecting photos and making a database"... Well they can also get the pics from the indoor/outdoor ranges you go to then, and hack into the gun store you bought it from... They (the gov) would also need to decipher who glockguyna is, and many other things.
In my opinion, none of it makes sense. I mean hey, you do you.. but none of the reasons really are valid if you look at it from a common sense perspective. Its like people who black out their license plates in pics... you drive daily and 50k people see it, but your scared of the ONE person on the interwebs??
Hey i was there too. Moved to AZ in 2005. I feel your PTSDmakes sense, I can see that it doesn’t really matter. I guess I just have a little PTSD from living in the communist country of Kalifornia for so many years and am now tasting what actual freedom is.
