I wasnt planning on doing +p through my lil buddy 43x. I know people do and its rated +p. I just figured its so small, I better shoot standard pressure. Dont want to beat up my gun. I ordered 12 boxes of 124 gr +p federal personal defense from palmetto state armory. After seeing a favorable youtube gel test. Spent all that money not realizing its +p. I think I'll try it out first if I dont like I'll use in a bigger gun. My federal punch 124gr shoots nice (standard pressure). Just wanted the slightly better expansion I saw in the comparison videos.

So, anybody use this in their 43x? Watcha think?

Not G43X, but I carry and occasionally shoot +P ammo in my G43, which is even smaller. So, I can tell you with confidence that you should not worry about shooting +P ammo in your G43X, unless you shoot literally tens of thousands of it.

I have fired over 63,000 rounds through one of my G43s, and at lest 1,400+ rounds of those are +P ammo. In addition to those I have also fired several hundred rounds of NATO spec ammo and about 20 rounds of “+P+” ammo. I do recommend AGINST using “+P+” ammo in your G43X because I do not think the little gun can take a steady diet of “+P+” ammo. But it should NOT have any problem digesting a couple thousand rounds of “+P” rounds for occasional practice.

Shooting +P in a Glock will not beat up the gun. Germanic guns are designed around hotter rounds as Euro-spec 9mm runs hotter than American mass produced 9mm. Glocks, Sigs, HKs, etc. are all +P rated. Maybe if I had a Kel Tec, Smith, or Taurus I would refrain from shooting a lot of +P through it but on a Glock it is a non-issue.

Anyone who claims +P will break or grossly wear out a Glock is a moron, countless LE agencies currently using +P and even some using +P+ round since the 1990s in their Glocks and we have heard of zero chronic issues.

Now with the Beretta 90-series it is a different story, many issues reported on US military Beretta's with a lot of 9mm NATO (which is esentially a +P) with frame/slide cracks. You will never find Glocks, Sigs, or HKs cracking en masses due to hot ammo, just doesn't happen.
