I would like to order a tier one appendix holster; however there is a lot of choices I am not familiar with. Can anyone here give me a little guidance as to the choices? It would be much appreciated

I have a T1-M with a large wedge. It’s a great minimalist AIWB holster. Good retention, snaps in click, rides nice. The one I have is for my HK P30. I recommend it. ONLY small issue I have is the tip of the slide is uncovered ever so slightly and I prefer the entire slide to be covered but honestly it’s no big deal. never causes any wear on the finish. Not sure it even touches anything.
Tier -1 is a quality holster

Tier one holster, LOL. I have a tub of tier one $$$ holsters. After a bit you will also. Bad part is you might try ten holsters till you find the one.

Good luck!
That's why it helps to answer these questions before committing to a holster.

What's your carry gun, carry position, weight and height?
I wouldn't recommend a side car holster for anyone who hip carries but youtube influencers would have you believe that there's no other choice. lol Similarly with appendix carry in general, doesn't work for a lot of people who have some extra weight.

Or drive a lot (appendix carry). Seatbelt rash is real.

Holsters are such a personal choice. I dont see how anyone can go with recommendations. Everyone loves Vedder LT but I am not a huge fan.

You might try looking for a custom holster maker. They're not that hard to find (if you're into kydex), most are on facebook. The "mom and pop" makers will talk your ear off about holsters, share insights and they know the right questions to ask.

Here is the one I use for my carry Glock 17s and M&P9c 2.0. Their other selections take up too much real estate on my 30" waist. I install my own wedges:

First thanks for all the responses. Much appreciated. In answer to some of the questions - I am 5 11 around 235lbs. I ordered one for my HK P 2000 ( trijicon sights and great action job on it by Lazy Wolf), exactly like the one mike 1956 uses for this Glocks and M&Ps. I have a bucket full of Vedders that I use; but do not particularly like. A friend loaned me his tier one and I liked it better.

What are you going to use the holster for? Concealed, tactical, open carry, back country?
I looked at the Tier 1 holster briefly. If you are looking at their mag carry add on, I am more than a bit biased toward a carry option that is functional, and simple in a situation that is escalated to "guns out". The idea of carrying my back up magazines on my strong side and reloading in a "stressful" encounter is neither functional or simple. I have no idea why that seems like a good idea (if anyone has an idea as to how that works better than a weak side mag carry, please post).
After years of training, competition and just plain practice, I know I can reload very fast from a weakside mag carry. All of my gear is set up that way (including my IKAK) - I do not want to have to switch gun hands in a emergency.
The only way the strong side mag carry works (fast) is switch to off hand, load with strong side hand and continue the fight off hand grip until there is a sound opportunity to switch back. As much as I tried that was a full 2 seconds slower back to full ready for me.
Could be that I am just too "practiced" to feel comfortable with the switch, but for me comfort reloading fast in a firefight.
As a stand alone holster they look tacticool. But the notion of strong side mag carry is just not practical for me.
For my CCW, I like the Milt Sparks and Mitch Rosen offerings, I have them for most of my pistols and no problems for several years.
Don't mean to rain on your parade, but I have 2 huge bins of holsters that did not work out for one reason or another, that is a fair amount of money gathering dust, hoping your "bad choice" bin stays very small!
