How do they shoot?
Quite frankly, I do not know yet. I have not made a trip to the range with them yet. I am looking forward to putting a few rounds through them. I have no doubt that they will be fantastic shooting pistols. My problem is that I have too many pistols that I have yet to shoot.

Hello, question for everyone. I've carried a 92FS over thirty years. I'm getting ready to retire and want to start shooting a little competition, nothing crazy. I purchased a Performance and love it. I'm still not totally use to the 1911 type safety. The safety gets in the way of the slide release from what I'm use to. My question to you all is, does anyone make an extended slide release (for the Performance) that comes further out from the gun and not longer, towards the grip. Thank you

You may want to take a look at the one from Volker.

Here is a pic I found of a 92X Performance with the Volker slide release installed.

How does shooting the 92X compare with the M9A4? I come from a 357mag/1911 background and found the 92 Brigadier INOX easy to pick up on, shoot it better than the 17.3. :)
The grip is pretty much the same, but the performance and accuracy go to the 92X Performance pistols. The balance and the triggers are much better than that of the M9A4. All in all, the 92X Performance is designed to be a competition pistol where accuracy and smooth performance is paramount. The M9A4, on the other hand, is designed to be a battle pistol with acceptable levels of performance and accuracy.
