?? You mean the war Russia is waging on Ukraine (a sovereign nation minding their own business)??

The AK import ban was in effect long before Russia started it. And, other countries in Europe (Russia is more Asia) make AK's too - they are free to do what ZastavaUSA is doing currently. BTW Zastava AK's are Yugoslavian style AK's, distinctively not Russian.

x39 can be and is made in other countries too - by those others who did not hack our elections. Russia was not the primary source. Those currently making import 556, 9mm - can make x39 just as easily. Golden Tiger is Taiwanese, and excellent ammo.

You’re right, anyone can just remake the Soviet Union’s old industrial base. Hopefully they’ll do it just prove that our sacred democracy shouldn’t be messed with-on Facebook.

I built my own underfolder from a Romanian G parts kit back when the kits were cheap. I did it mostly to remind myself how much I hate shooting with underfolding stocks.

By the way your hand guards are most likely foreign made as they don't count towards the 922R parts count.

These handguards are USA made and whatever company Zastava gets them from, they give them the distressed look. And they do count as one 922r parts count.

Yea, I have two other AK’s, my Maadi and my WBP Jack AK. Both of those have wood fixed stocks so I was wanting an underfolder this time.

Awesome AK!

 

Some paracord wrapped on the stock arm to help make it a little more comfortable. First time I’ve ever worked with paracord. Watched a couple videos on YouTube and chose the simplest way to wrap this. I‘m happy with the way it turned out being my first time but I will redo it and stop before I get to the stock arm rivet up by the receiver.

 

How does she shoot OP? I’ve seen a video or two reporting that the Zastava M70 Underfolder is under gassed and the casings landing only a few feet away from the shooter.

 

I don’t know. I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet, unfortunately. Hopefully soon I will get a chance to shoot it.

 

The problem with all these minimalist metal and wire style stocks, is it is hard to get a good cheek weld, and you are stuck using the iron sights because of face position (stock comb too low). Unlike the AR (which is inherently perfect for optics), the stock drop on AK's and SKs force you to think a little.

My latest M70 is this one that was imported by Mitchell arms. It is one of 400 that snuck past customs before the others were seized. The rest had to be modified to "M90" postban specs before clearing customs.

Mine is brand new in the box. I got it from one of the biggest gun collectors in the US (Terrance Mcarthy). I've done 6 figures of business with him in the past few months and this is one of the latest guns I got from him. It shipped last Thursday, so I should have it either tomorrow or the next day.

My build with Rust bluing cost me 650.00 with original barrel. Just ordered M72 parts kit from Raifus and can't wait to start building it. My favorite finishes is Rust Bluing and nothing can beat it.

I bought a couple sets of 1990’s Balkan war trench art surplus handguard sets for my Underfolder. I really think both sets are really cool. These are really cool with history of soldiers on the battlefield fighting. My other set has nekkid girl stickers on the lower and upper handguards. Here’s the other set I put on my Underfolder to see how they look.

 

I just sold this set to my friend and I have 2 sets lined up for me next year when I go back to Bosnia to visit family so I can't wait haha

 

Ohhh I forgot I have a Tactical bag and magazine holder as well.

 

Im adding my new project just waiting on the receiver,, maaan she will be awesome when I'm done with her. Got this parts kit from AOA 8 matching kit in excellent condition, actually new like condition.
