I know you asked Brain and not me, but here is my opinion for USPSA competition single action trigger pull. I prefer right at 2 1/2 pounds with a short pre-travel, clean break and nearly zero over-travel. As short a reset as possible is big for fast split times.
Thanks, TJ - as I am aware of, but ignorant about, USPA and what is a desired competition piece, that info was helpful, esp. since my idea of a good trigger is found on my Kahr….🙄🤔🥺

When I last “followed” USPA, it was because you could not then see a Glock ad without Tori Nonaka in it. And while I like my Glocks well enough, they never struck me as “competition” pistols or really anything beyond being very useful, reliable pistols, but essentially the Timex in a Vacheron Constantin world. Plus… even at a local club plinking level, I couldn’t handle the ammo price of competition. 😞
