My Canadian Glock 29 wants to say hello!

Hello guys. Some of you may remember me from a few weeks ago when I put my first post inhttp://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=937390. I introduced myself and my first Glock, a G17. Well you all warned me. It really IS addictive. Within a week I had a 10mm Glock 29 arriving at my door. I have attached some pictures for your view pleasure. In order to meet legal requirements for barrel length, it came with an aftermarket Storm Lake barrel. A factory barrel would have been my first choice, but I am very happy. I just figured I'd share some pictures and say hello to our great neighbors to the south! :)

Happy Glocking,
- John

Good question. I do plan on getting A G20, but I'm a bit of a sale hunter. This particular lil guy was at the right price with only two left in stock. I hadn't seen any G29's for sale in quite some time, so I jumped on the chance to get one before they ran out (which they did the same day).

Nice guns.... yea that barrel length is a silly law.... don't worry we have silly laws of our own here in Belize. Like limited to 9mm and under...oh and how can I forget the new Extended magazine law... High capacity is perfectly fine as long as it sits flat with the pistol grip and doesn't "Extend"...

wow what other restrictions do they have up there?
need a permit(license) to buy a rifle (pal)
need another permit(license) to buy a pistol/revolver (rpal)
need to show one of the above licenses to purchase ammo.
renewing your license (every 5 years)
not allowed to carry
10 round mags only
need a special permit (att) to bring your pistol to the range (the only place we can legally discharge a handgun)
handguns need to be locked up when transporting .

Sad isn't it? It seems to be the story everywhere. The clueless masses attacking legal gun owners when the majority of gun crimes are commited by those who obtained their firearms illegally. I guess it's easier to attack a group like us instead of dealing with real social issues or getting tough on crime.

Any chance you got it at CK Gun Room?

I stopped in there a while back ant talked to Mr Lou for a while.
No. I've found in the past their prices on Glocks IMHO were beyond ridiculous. Great people working there though. I got the G29 from Questar and the G17 from Canada Ammo. Both are really competitive with prices and service.

Every retailer is in charge of their own pricing I guess... But $849.99 vs. $599.99? No thanks.
