Awesome choice! Sorry about the barrel-length requirement. The G29 configured as it was intended is really the perfect compact autoloader, IMHO. Just out of curiosity, since you had to have the full-sized barrel anyway, why not just get a G20?

 

Good question. I do plan on getting A G20, but I'm a bit of a sale hunter. This particular lil guy was at the right price with only two left in stock. I hadn't seen any G29's for sale in quite some time, so I jumped on the chance to get one before they ran out (which they did the same day).

For restricted class pistols, if I remember correctly, barrels can't be less than 106mm and magazines are limited to 10 rounds. There may be other rules but my brain is only half working as I just got up not long ago.

Like limited to 9mm and under...oh and how can I forget the new Extended magazine law... High capacity is perfectly fine as long as it sits flat with the pistol grip and doesn't "Extend"...

need to show one of the above licenses to purchase ammo.
renewing your license (every 5 years)
not allowed to carry
10 round mags only
need a special permit (att) to bring your pistol to the range (the only place we can legally discharge a handgun)
handguns need to be locked up when transporting .

No. I've found in the past their prices on Glocks IMHO were beyond ridiculous. Great people working there though. I got the G29 from Questar and the G17 from Canada Ammo. Both are really competitive with prices and service.

Every retailer is in charge of their own pricing I guess... But $849.99 vs. $599.99? No thanks.
