I have a set of MOE M-LOK mid-length hand guards for my 16" AR15 Saint. I am RIGHT handed and want to mount a 1" dia Surefire light on the LEFT side of the rifle to activate it with the thumb of my LEFT hand, when shouldered on my right shoulder.

I prefer to use Magpul gear/mounts with their hand guard to do so. Which of their mounts is the BEST way to do so, and which one will also give me the most strength and the LOWEST, snag free, profile?

Looking at the Magpul mounts I can not figure out which is the best way to do so for my needs/desires?

(These are my Magpul hand guards I am using)

I also plan to mount the forward sling position on the LEFT side also, at the MID way point of the rifle, as far to the REAR of the hand guard as I can? I want to make sure it is snag free and as low profile without compromising strength of it's mounting and still allowing me the ease of enough clearance to get my left hand onto the fore end of the rifle?

Here's a midlength setup I put together with a Surefire Scoutlight, Scoutlight mount, pressure switch, and a Magpul QD sling mount.

The rear MLOK slot is too far forward for the sling mount. It needs to be closer to the receiver for stabilizing the gun.

I'm righthanded and I prefer my light to be at 1:30 o'clock, which the Scoutlight mount does. It keeps the light from shining directly into the wall when I pie a strong side corner, and when I roll my gun 90-degrees to the left to pie a weak side corner.

I also prefer a pressure switch to a tailcap switch as it's more natural and easier to operate the switch on the handguard than the tailcap.

This is the mount you want if you're using a Surefire scout or Streamlight Protac: M-LOK® Extended Cantilever Scout Mount

Comes with both the Streamlight and Surefire screws. Will be much tighter to the gun than the rail mount style. Two of mine, both using this mount, one on a plastic handguard. Both with Streamlights:

Also on my M4:

Dude explicitly says he wants to use his thumb switch and a Magpul mount, and, in true GT fashion, everyone answers questions he didn’t ask.

OP doesn’t state which SF model, which is going to narrow down which Magpul mounts are useable.

That's why I qualified my response with "if" and called out a specific light as an assumption. Guess I'm wrong and he's not using a weapon light but wants something he can clamp a handheld light in. My bad. Sorry for offending your sensibilities!

OP also requested advice.

Many times, what I thought would be my preferred way didn't work out so well and it cost me more money to make it right. Others can learn from my experience if the want.

No harm showing him examples from people who've mounted lights on Magpul handguards using a Magpul light mount, even if they don't match his desires. There are many different ways to achieve the same result.
