Does anyone make a Hart's Recoil Reducer these days? I really like the one I have and a friend keeps asking where he can get one. I get most people want a captive recoil spring for their Glock but, personally I don't really care one way or the other.
I have a Hart's Mercury Rod in my 1911 since the 90's. It started in my Gold Cup and then got moved to my Kimber .40. I really like it a lot.
I wish I had bought more of them, but they were pretty expensive. I didn't have Glocks back then and never considered buy one. I would definitely buy one for my Glocks today if they were available.

I had Haarts Recoil Reducer mercury-filled guide rod in my Beretta 96FS in the mid-90's, when I patrolled. It was well made, but I don't remember it decreasing recoil and muzzle jump very much.

I kept it installed because I welcomed every little advantage I could get in a gunfight.

The DPM recoil reduction system is a multi-spring guide rod that seems to the the current rage for a guide rod that reduces recoil.
I have DPMs in my G26 and G20 defense guns; and competition G17 and G34; it's a great invention (3 spring system) and the external spring is user selected from 2 or 3 of different strengths. Like many have said, proper grip and stance are key, but these things add value to that - and - they keep the internals from banging together bad during slide cycle - like a braking system on the extraction move, if you're putting thousands of rounds through them training or in competition. I've gotten mine from Mounting Solutions Plus for good prices.

EDIT: oops, I didn’t realize there was another page…

Is this kind of what you’re looking for?

Your OP peaked my interest. I have no idea if the DPM works.
They work in my Glocks and I also have one in my alternate carry SA Hellcat. It's almost a necessity in that gun for much faster follow-ups. The Mounts Plus site has more DPM options for multiple firearms than Optics Planet.

If it worked so well those graphs would be a selling point- but they rely on user reviews to sell the product. (STP and Lucas oil, anyone?)

Ransom rest, force sensors and strain gauge testing..... rather than testimonials and goofball youtube vids by a couple of dudes would convince me. Be Healed.
