That's pre covid price for G22 trade ins. I recall a lot of gen 3s back in 2019 or so for like 249, but I don't remember any gen 4s.
They are starting to dump gen 5 Glocks on the surplus market now in 9mm, but way more than those. I do wonder if there will be any gen 5 G22s to come. I've seen 17s, 26s and 27s so far.

I ordered one a few days back from KYgunco for just a little more than 300. I hope it's in better shape than the 23 they sold me. The gun was solid and shot little, but the grip looks like it had taken a tumble and was a bit scuffed on the back of it. I just tossed a Talon grip on it and called it good. It doesn't really matter I guess. I already have a gen 2 G22, and the 23 was just a knock around beater.

I paid under $270 for one from them late last year.

From AIM, I would say good to very good condition. After a trip to Glock for a rebuild/refinish, its closer to excellent/display model. Very minor wear on grip if you really look. I would say was a patrol officer who took care of their equipment or the admin person who occasionally went out.

If I buy another Glock .40, it'll be a 35.4 MOS at under $350.

Which organization is so rich they cycle new guns in so fast?

Who notes 20 years was not unusual. I guess revolvers are more reliable.
I suspect that it's not a rich agency, but more they are all going to guns with a reddots.

My former agency keeps Glock about 7-8 years. Apparently, Glock recommends changing all the springs every XXXX rounds and tritium is only "guaranteed" for 10. Someone did the math and determined it was only a little more than $100 more to trade up. Less time and headache, too, as they did it at qual day. You handed them your old gun, received your new gun and signed the appropriate papers for documentation.
I bought a gen 4 police trade in G23 and picked it up a couple weeks back. I don't often buy used guns let alone a police trade in, but when I do, I start the gun off back to square one with a new set of wearables. I tore that G23 down and while it was pretty dirty, everything appeared to be new internally. Dirty gun, clean springs. I changed everything anyway for peace of mind, but kept all the parts.
