Why do your spare mags in the plastic bags look like they are a different (lighter) color? Are those non glock mags? I need to order some extra mags for my new 19X, but want them to match the ones that came with the gun.

I got my extras from HKSpecialist, they came in ziplock bags lol... but they are the real deal. I am guessing its because Glock does not have official retail packaging for them?

The bag is just making the color look off.

Thanks -- That's odd. In the pics they don't look even close to being the same color. Looks more "FDE" than "Coyote" to me.

Maybe they will post photos with them removed from the bags to confirm. However, I believe the cheap bags are causing light to turn the color into a different shade or hue.

It's good it came in bags. Mine were shipped loose in a padded envelope. The lighting may make the magazines appear a different color. I noticed it when I took a picture of mine and had to look twice what was going on.

I like the feel, weight and size.

I was shooting today and noticed it was more of a center hold instead of a 6:00 hold, to me.

Didn't take a picture today but I resolved my "19X is the only Glock I shoot left" problem.

The culprit was the medium beavertail I adore on my 17 and 26 gen 4. Took it off and, bam, dead center.

Guess the beaver tail needed the grooves to work for me.

Does your 19X came with the 6.1 mm sights?

Hmm. I didn’t look that closely to check.

I confirmed it with a laser bore sighter and it is combat or center hold.

Mine came with the 6.1 rear sight. Moved them to a gen3 17 and it was shooting low. Moved the rear to my daughter's gen4 19 and it shoots fine. Her Meprolight rear sight which was shooting fine was moved to the gen3 17 which now shoots fine. Who knows. Maybe it's us.

Had Ameriglo suppressor height night sights on my gen4 35 MOS which I moved the the 19X and it shoots fine.

They are Glock brand mags and they match must just be the bags on them or my poor photog skills. Got them from gunmagwharehouse.com I believe.

6.5 Glock sight works with the 6 o'clock hold for me, that's the way I like it with my Glocks!
