Just curious for those of you out ther that have seen LEO Glock 21 trade in handguns at your local gun shops......
How much are they going for?
Are they Gen3, Gen3 SF or Gen4?
What kind of condition are they usually in?
Have you seen after market parts or OEM upgraded parts on them?

I've seen numerous LEO 9mm & .40S&W trade in models in my area for sale on a regular basis, how ever the .45ACP models are few and far between. Wondering what all of you are seeing in your local gun shops here in the USA.

Look forward to your replies...............

There's a few right now at one of my favorite shops. They are the standard 21 (non SF) and they are $395 but we have high sales tax which is 9.75% so that gun would be around $444 out the door with the background check. They look good inside and the outsides are kinda rough. I like Gen 3's so I'd buy one if I had the money.

I got one from Sportsman's outdoors for $375. Prices went up later. Mechanically sound. Holster and seatbelt wear but I got it for a project. Fixed it up and then sold it on here to fund another project. Deals can be found.

Sounds like your tax is like I have here in TN

I bought a police trade-in 21 from Summit gun broker in 2014 for about $400.00 iirc. It had night sights, dim but workable, and 1 mag. There was a shiny area on the grip from the seatbelt polishing the grip and some slight wear on the slide. I still have it,it’s my carry/nightstand gun.

I am in Idaho and would like to obtain a Leo G 21. I really don't want or can't pay brand new price but these prices look. Where can I go online to be able to acquire one of these used Leo pistols? Any information would be greatly be appreciated. Thank you

Check with AIM Surplus. They carry alot if used police turn ins. You may have to wait, but they are a good company to deal with.

The problem I always have with looking for used Glock’s online is once you pay for shipping, FFL receiving fee on my end, taxes & background check fee, a potential good deal is now not a good deal. Might as well shop local gun shops.
This week I found a LEO trade in Glock 21 SF, good condition outside, excellent condition inside, aftermarket steel night sights, Glock extended slide release & one 13 round mag for $409. On top of that when I asked the gun store manager if he had any extra LEO trade in Glock 21 mags, he said yes and I could have them for $5 each!!! You can bet I’m going to pick up 5 - 10 more mags at that price!!
That made my deal go from good to GREAT.....IMHO.

I bought my gen 3 for $425.00 out the door. The good: he installed new night-sights for me, plus it came with two pre-ban 'U-notch' magazines which I sold here. The bad: it had the Tupperware box.

Good deal , that pistol should have the 'Good Finish' as well.
Imo the 21 is a great pistol I was going to get a 'SF' in 2012 but the store was out of stock & I got a reg , Gen 3 21, I shoot that pistol better than my 9 mm's
even tho I have a Small hand.

You may have to replace the Night Sites in a few years but that's Cool.

Can not beat $5 Glock Mag's

Gunarama Wholesale in Spokane is a major distributor for LE agencies all around the region. Give them a call.

I got my Gen 3 21 3 years ago this month from local pawn shop. It was $275 out the door. Had a broken RSA, I took it to Smyrna next morning armorer replaced every part in the pistol except the barrel, slide and frame. Even gave me a new mag and case to go with it. This was my first Glock so I could compete in GSSF indoor and now it's my outdoor heavy metal gun and has won prize money at several of the matches. Love my 21. I was at Ed's yesterday in Stockbridge and they had 2 gen 2 LEO 21's for like $375
