Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with any of the various Lasers available for the Glock 43?

Thinking of adding one.

Thanks

I have the Crimson Trace laser guard also for mine. Works well but if you tap it it does move a little bit. But all of my Crimson Trace is will move a little bit if you tap them. I actually have one for every single one of my pistols.

I also prefer the laser guard because if you work at it you can train yourself to turn the light on and off based on your grip strength right before firing so if you wish to you can stay dark until you want to give away your position with the laser.

I would say the greatest point for having the laser though is it will teach you to point really really well! My point shooting is tremendous now because of practicing with that on a regular basis. It also allows you to put the gun on your hip if you wish for close quarters combat and point with the laser without having to stick your gun up in someone’s face where they can take it away from you. I also can’t get over the idea that it probably will help change someone’s attitude when you put a dot on their chest!

I have the opposite reaction with the TLR-6. I think they are outstanding and while more light output would be great, the 100 lumens it does have is sufficient for most uses. The laser works just fine but I have never had good luck trying to shoot accurately with them on a pistol. Also there are plenty of holster options for a 43 with the TLR-6. I have both a pocket (Alabama Holster) and an OWB (Tactical Armor Designs).

I have the TFO Tru-Glo on another gun and really like them. The girl at the gun shop looked at me like I had two heads when I asked about both a laser guard and day/night sights on a G43.
Bought the G43 elsewhere.
It’s all about having options. Some people prefer light, or laser, or good sights and some a combination.

I use my my night sights/open sights first and foremost,my true-Glo TFX Pros give me pretty much what I need in most lighting conditions, but there will be times where my Crims like tools having on Trace Green laser guard will come into play, lot of scenarios here, and too many to put down, IMHO,having both good night sights and laser, puts me on top of things as they are called for, just like tools, having the right one for the job, makes a big difference in how things turn out...

Streamlight TLR-6 on mine. I haven't tested it much yet due to some temporary unusual circumstances, but I like the concept and I've got a Vedders IWB kydex holster that seems to work pretty well at 3:30 for concealed carry. Very little printing with a stock magazine and OEM base plate.
