After today's excursion at the range, looking at the different sights I decided to order the Truglo TFX Pros from Optics Planet. I like that they have free return policy much like Amazon (except most sights aren't returnable on Amazon), I needed some other items so got free shipping and had a 7% discount coupon. $107 with the ability to return them. The only thing on my wish list the TFX's didn't have was the single tritium on the bottom, but I think I like the U notch. For whatever reason I've never taken to square notch sights, though that's all I've ever had. I'd considered TFX counterpart HiViz H3's but he Truglos had better reviews even though they were $20 more. While I was ordering I also ordered a spare set of Spring cups. I can see losing one or both of the little buggers that hold the spring in- and then what?

I should have them in a week or so, so we'll see. Thanks for all the comments and remarks. I appreciate it.

My favorite sights for fast, accurate shooting, are tritium fronts with bright red/orange/green outlines around the tritium vial to form a big dot, and blacked out U notch rear sight with no dots or tritium. When I discovered how well I shot with the sights that come standard on a SIG P365, I decided to try a similar setup on something else. As it turns out, I found my preferred sight setup.

If you want U notch and an esay to see front sight, you have to try the Trijicon HD sights, best of the world!

The Trijicons were a consideration. but as long as I was going to go 3-dot rather than figure 8 I thought perhaps the Truglo with fiber and tritium would be a good bet, especially having had the opportunity to hold a Truglo TFX sighted pistol in my hand yesterday. What I do like about the Trijidon HD's is that the outer walls angle in, something the Truglos lack. What I'll probably do is do a mock-up installation before actually mounting them so I can return them if I don't like them once I get them. This is all such a personal thing and without a wide range of sights to actually hold and compare so much of it is guesswork.

TFX's on my G23.3 and I love them. Good tritium performance with the "pop" of fiber-optic in bright light. Well worth the cost if you ask me.

TFX Pros were shipped today, almost locally from Optics Planet. They didn't tick all the boxes as I was hoping for a figure 8 configuration, but I suppose I can get used to these. One thing that drew me to U-Notch rears was that when looking at illustrations, for some reason I was able to more quickly center . The shape of the bottom contrasting with the vertical lines of the front I think will be faster for me. Also I decided that it was better to have something more visible (via illumination) because while I have pretty much 20/20 vision at distance my vision sucks at arms length, about where the front sights live when presented.
