friend thought he one saw an 11oz weight that easily bolted on to front area. been away from guns long time, have old injury to hand, my 22oz taurus not working out. If so, I could have 25 plus 11, would make big difference in my hand getting whacked. would be good, as I have exact G17 airsoft replica I shoot in house/garage. this is if I can get a glock17 at all, I hear about all kinds of laws and special regs about owning one?

guess its around 6oz maximum for one piece in that spot, friend must have seen 11oz somewhere after adding more weights all over the gun. thanks
forgot to say I live in Mass. been away from gun game many years, heard lots of different stuff about getting glock, different from just walking into local gunshop and picking one out.

Maybe Mass. has round limit or something. The 17 is no more restricted than any other except for socialist states. In Missouri I can get any Glock I want and drive off ten minutes after surrendering the cash.
You could get 4 or 5 ounces from a slug, depending on how you want the gun to balance. That could have the advantage of not changing the frame's profile.
Fill the backstrap area with tungsten, and use a polymer plug to hold it. Get a cheap weaponlight, gut it an fill with lead or tungsten. And, weighted metal magazine bases.
