Morning peeps,

Does anyone here actually have one of these? I assume they used a 21SF/20SF to make this .50... I thought they used a Genuine Glock slide but Joe pointed out the 8 serrations. Interesting for sure @ a funny price to start with not to mention that it's here in Mesa AZ :D ...

There are kits to full blown complete pistols you can by. They’ve been around for years. Forget who makes them. I’d have to google

It's probably a 21, not a 20. Iirc the .50 GI is rebated rim, with .45 ACP case head.

Renaming it wouldn't matter. I bet it still has the Glock serial number on the frame.

Oh, gosh no, don't buy that. I've seen complete uppers with a magazine sell for $500 on ebay before. It's just a standard 20/21 upper and you can buy those for $75 plus shipping. The internals are cheap too or if you have not a clue what to do you can spend the extra $100 or so for the complete lower. Slap the completed slide/barrel on the frame and you are good to go for way less than what they are asking. .50GI Drop In Glock Conversion | Guncrafter Industries

I would have done this already but the .50 GI ammo is too expensive. Also is the reason why I don't have a 5.7 pistol.

That #SAW706 is not for me, im into Norinco SKS currently. As I stated it was done very well, almost original, including the mag engraving. What is needed is frame serial number and BOX label. That would be telling but the other Glock marks on the slide are absent, so this is someones dream 50 GI. Not factory Glock.

I had one for a short time. Basically 45ACP ballistics with a .50 cal bullet. You did have the advantage of going with a heavier bullet, 300 grains at 700fps. Neat toy for putting half inch holes in stuff without the punishing recoil, but not much use beyond that. The ammo is expensive too, costs more to feed a 50GI than a Desert Eagle, and the DE will make that GI look like a horse and buggy.
