These types of devices have been around for years. It's two pieces of steel. The clip is screwed to the second piece of steel and that second piece is essentially double sided taped to the gun. It's like those 3M command hooks...

It's minimalistic and that's about the only positive. Anyone that would carry a gun with a loaded chamber and that device is asking to drop a bullet in their rear, hip, or pecker. If you are looking for minimalist, something like this should be looked at.

It's a Chineese version of the orginal clip draw that was originally used for 1911's and J frames. Not a good idea if you can't keep your trigger finger off the trigger.

You have to use Master Grip, even a gril can do it.

Try if for awhile, what’s the worst thing that could happen?

Universal Clip Holster What are some negatives and hazards for a clip that attaches by screw to a handgun? I use a Glock 42, if it makes a difference concerning this topic. I do also want to hear something positive about this idea.
If you are looking for a concealment holster, why buy one that does nothing to conceal the gun?
With more conventional holsters, if your covering layer pulls part way up, few if any bystanders will notice you have a gun.
With a minimalist holster, even a 7-year old will recognize your gun for what it is, and likely call attention to it.
Don’t mess around. Just buy a good holster that covers the trigger guard and most of the rest of the gun.
AND NO CHEAP BELT CLIPS.

If you need a money clip for your gun there's that. Otherwise like others said it doesn't cover the trigger so I wouldn't do it or recommend it
