I have a DDM4 with an Aimpoint PRO on it, and I would like to have a 3x magnifier for shooting longer every now and then. I don't know if I would use it enough to justfy well over 500 bucks on a top notch one. then again I could fall in love with it and use it all the time. You guys are usually pretty dialed in on good opinions when it comes to these things IME. How do the 100 dollar 3x function? Is one worth buying?
How good are the cheaper 3x magnifiers?

I have a Primary Arms Deluxe 3X magnifier in their FTS mount behind one of my EoTech XPS 2-0 sights and it works great. I just bought it to try and I haven't been able to break it in 2-3 years of chasing hogs with it. It is far from top quality but it is functional.

I'd LOVE to see a side by side comparison between the $30 ebay models (which I purchased a while back), versus the more expensive models. The el-cheapo model seems to work OK based on my tests at the range. From what I hear, the eye relief of the more expensive models is supposed to be better....but no one seems to have a side by side review of each. I just don't get spending $150+ on a low power magnifier. If it were a SCOPE that had higher magnification, yeah sure, maybe....

ADM makes a lower version of the mount that will line up better with your absolute CW EOTech. Do you have a rear flip? Might not clear.

The EXPS2 is a raised EoTech (lower 1/3rd co-witness).
I have a Magpul rear flip-up. I'm pretty sure it will clear. I've seen photos of this arrangement but not sure what type of magnifier mount was used. I'm assuming it will be just like in the photo you posted of the Aimpoint with magnifier.
Yes the photo and link are for the correct mount for your EXPS.
