What have you guys seen for hand stops on AR pistols? I know grips are a no no.
I’d hate to have my hand slide forward and trim my nails. Wanting to make sure it’s legal beyond any question.

I have two point slings on all of mine, the forward sling mount serves as a 'hand stop' for me.

My SP89 has a little stub of a sawed off a forward grip on it to act as a handstop. If I ever put a full grip on it, I know the BATF agents would jump out of the bushes around the camp and I'd be off to some Supermax prison before ya' could bat an eye.

Full clip. I’m looking at similar, as I told another member, if I could get something similar to a warm up weight on a baseball bat, but out of strong rubber, that would be ideal. The rails would hold it in place.

Would small cheap bipod or monopod work if you've got a little bit of Picatiny rail on the bottom of the hand guard?? They use them on the Ruger Charger and XP pistols and I've never heard of anybody getting in trouble with the gun police with those.

Simple "sling" on the front of the firearm. Saves fingers...

I've found I like a stop between my fingers for indexing to accessory controls. The sling keeps my hand from sliding off if I slide off the stop.

I “thought” they were, but wasn’t certain. Now to find a cheap bakers dozen,...uh, for spares.

I like an actual stop as the AFG makes the grip to fat for me.

Wow are you behind the times? Don't you know you're not cool and out of touch with ARs unless you have a mid-length to accommodate an 36" hand guard so you can cover the muzzle with your hand? All the cool guys do that. C-clamp it! C-clamps, by design, are strong. Man up.
