Glock sales by model and caliber

Does Glock ever release any sales numbers based on the model or cartridge?

If I had to guess, I would probably say that sales based on cartridge look like this, in order from most to least:

9mm
40SW
45ACP
380
10mm
357SIG
45GAP

In terms of most popular models, I think that's really hard to say. The 43X and 45 seem really popular nowadays and have probably outsold the 17 and 19 recently. 10mm has seen a resurgence in recent years, so part of me wonders if they sell more 10mm models than something like the Glock 26.

I would WAG black gen 3 G19 as top seller overall GLOCKs sold.

The ATF does.............. but they only provide the count by caliber and pistol, rifle, revolver or shotgun.

Then also, Glocks numbers manufactured OUTSIDE the USA and stay OUTSIDE the USA are not going to be in those numbers. They only count what is manufactured here, and what is exported from here (the USA).

Gun people buy from gun broker and they are only account for a small percentage of firearm sales. Then you also have to account for the fact that a huge portion of firearms sold on GB are used and do not represent a new sale for the manufacturer or new firearm introduced into circulation.

I did hear somewhere that 9mm Glocks sold at a MUCH higher rate than any other caliber and I'd say the G19 is probably the most popular model, period. I'd probably agree with your list though, the .40 may out sell the .45, not too sure but sounds right.

They could release something like this by percentage and it doesn't show actual sales numbers that they might not want the public and their competitors to see. I would like to know just out of curiosity by their model. I think the G43 is up there close to the G19 and maybe ahead of the G17 in the USA.

It caused me to look at mine this morning since I haven't recently.

It's true that no one (here on Glock Talk) knows for sure but we go off whatever we have if there's any care or concern for finding the answer. Or at least, the closest thing there might be to an answer. Between that and what I see at the range, I wouldn't immediately discount those who claim the G19 and G17 are top sellers. I see them everywhere, 2 to 1 of anything else I'd guess.
