Love my 41. I need some help on what sight height I need to get. I'm thinking I'm going to go with Ameriglo I-Dot or Hackathorn style because three dots don't work great for me. I know a lot of Gus like cover the target style of front sights but I like a 6 o'clock picture. What should I be going for?

Besides the sights all I need is a good mounted light, more mags and ammo, and a barrel to shoot lead.

The Warren Sev Comp rear should be .245" above the slide. I'm not sure how far my current Glock 23 rear sight sits above the slide. I think Glock measures the stock rear sight from it's base in the dovetail.
If you're using the top of the blade of the front sight, then it should be the same height as the rear sight...off the top of the slide, not the bottom of the dove tail.

Initial intent was a range/fun gun but it carries concealed quite nicely.
That was my initial reason for getting the G41. I liked it so much I got two more and they are my got to SHTF pistols along with range and woods fun. They got some .45 acp boolits out there, too, that are almost as powerful as a stout 10mm.

As the last post is some 5 years ago, I guess im late in the G41 game. Other Glocks have been the 26 and the 30... now thinking of getting a full sized brother. After going over (most of the posts, seems Im good to go with he 41
That's funny, I too dredged up this ancient thread since the only decent aftermarket 45acp slides I can find are for the Glock 41. I'm thinking that's because it's only available for the Gen 4, and it's not compatible with the Gen 3 compatable Poly 80 frames. Those pretty much killed great prices on used Glock slides and parts.
