G40 MOS Holster suggestions

I have a new Glock 40 MOS and I am trying to find a hunting holster for it. It seems there are very few available, and no custom folks I have found have a plastic one for molding.

My thoughts are:
OWB
Paddle or belt clips
Rain safe, so probably Kydex
Full coverage muzzle up to reflex sight for protection when stalking, glassing, or prone
Good retention
BTW, left hand draw

Any suggestions?

Thanks, this looks pretty good. Is the muzzle closed or open? A little opening is good for draining, but I found once (fortunately before shooting) after rolling into a concealed position that I had picked up a dirt plug in the muzzle of my .45.

The muzzle is mostly closed with about a 1/4 " x 2"long gap.If you call and talk to them they can make about any modification you want. They didn't have the lining option when I purchased mine or I would have added it.

BlackRhinoConcealment TCS. They modified this one to clear the extra tall front sight with no extra charge. As good as any of my other Kydex holsters at twice the price.

Gunfighters Inc makes a nice OWB concealment holster for your pistol. They will also accommodate the RMR and tall sights. I have two of their IWB one for my 19/23/32/36 and another for my 43. I also have two of their OWB for the same set. I've been very happy with the quality of materials and workmanship. They also have an unconditional lifetime guarantee. Their prices are very competitive.

I've been looking too Sniper Dog. So far I haven't found one that covers the lens of the reflex sight. The dust or dirt eventually gets to be too much to be able to see through it. Maybe will need to find someone to custom make one for this. Or maybe a flap type holster to cover the entire top with the sight.

X2 ^... a chest holster may be your best alternative. I haven't solved the issue of protecting the Vortex Venom lens. I'm thinking along the lines of attaching the cover that comes with the sight to the holster using some sort of lanyard arrangement.

My rig is the Blackhawk Versa-Harness with Serpa CQC holster. It takes some effort to get the straps adjusted for the carry position desired, but that is a one time effort. Chest holster was my only option that is compatible with wearing waders while flyfishing or carrying climber treestand while hunting or hiking/freighter backpack. I also have the option of adding the Blackhawk Quick Disconnect to quickly change from chest carry to OWB carry.

As a side note: I found the chest carry faster and more natural to draw, especially for Woods Defense.

I bought a Raven Concealment holster for my G41, which has a similar "long slide" as your 10mm.

I ordered mine to fit the G41 with a TLR-1 mounted, but they'll make you one with just about any light you want.....or with NO light.

Wait times are roughly the same as for a good custom leather maker.
