I’m a big fan of the Glock OEM Extended Slide Release. However, I’ve found it protrudes just enough to be a problem with some holsters, especially the Gen 5 ambi.

I’m a lefty, so an extended slide release really helps me (I have to use my index finger to release the slide and not my thumb). On all of my Gen 3 and 4 pistols, the Glock OEM works just fine for me. On the slimline models, however, I really like the Ghost version best. Gen 5 pistols are not worth my switching out, since the stock ambi works fine for me as it is.
