G22.3 - Change recoil spring weight when adding optic?

I've sent a G22.3 slide to Battlewerx for optic cut and refinishing. Just wondering if the stock RSA will be OK, or should I go to a different weight?

The optic weighs 1.05 oz, plus factory polymer sights will be replaced with Ameriglo 3XL suppressor height sights. (Can't find weight on those.) Also, not sure how much mass will be removed by the cut, but would guess considerably less than 1 oz.

Slide won't be back for another 4 weeks or so, but would like to have additional RSA, if needed, for first range trip.

Thanks.

I would say try it out first, my guess would be it'll run just fine.

If you're that concerned just pick up a Wolff recoil spring calibration pack for about $18 bucks.

LOL. Thanks for mentioning Wolff, Leon94! Your post reminded me a I bought a Wolff SS guide rod and recoil calibration pack for the 17/22 a few years ago. I'd forgotten that.

Now if I can just find it. Just kidding. Pretty sure I know where it is.
