IIRC the FBI does have a special section to deal with internet fraud.
They are good at what they do.

The Better Business Bureau is IMO, a toothless tiger. If you call them to check on a particular business they will only tell you how many complaints have been lodged with them. They will tell you how many complaints have been resolved as well as how many remain unresolved. The BBB won't reveal the nature of complaints, and they have no way to force resolution of complaints.

To be fair, I ordered a rather expensive magazine from them before I read all these warnings.
They claimed it was on back order for 8 weeks.
I was not hoping for much but, surprisingly, 4 weeks later I received it in good order... and no mysterious charges on my credit card.

Steer clear of all TGSCOM, Inc. websites. They all look the same. My impression is that the company is run by teenagers. Do they really have an FFL? Typical.

update

i don't have absolute 100% proof that it's someone at topglock who is responsible for all this, but i am now receiving packages shipped to my post office box. today i received 2 postcards from UPS telling me i have 2 packages (payable COD) awaiting delivery. my credit card was canceled, so now they're sending them COD. ridiculous!

i called my credit card company today and notified them that several other posters here (didn't list glocktalk specifically) have experienced fraud after ordering from tgscom. the lady took all the information and passed it along to their fraud investigations unit.

hopefully tgscom will soon get a nice big anal probe out of this

They also have to be a member of the BBB in order for them to file a grievance. Costs about $200 a year to join for that you get a sticker for your door and the suckers think you are a reputable business.

So I am looking to order some decal grips and some extended Glock controls for my pistols. I was about to order all of said parts from topglock.com, as they had everything I was looking for in one place. Luckily I stumbled upon this thread prior to placing my order.

What web source have you guys found to be reputable and reliable for this type of stuff. I am not interested in aftermarket really. Just the rubberized grip decals and Glock factory extended mag and slide release, Jentra plug ect.

Thanks for the information. I was looking at placing an order with Top Glock for one of the Detonics USA Combat Master pistols they are selling. Glad I did not.

I placed an order with them......waited 2 1/2 weeks...no response, either by e-mail or confirmation order #.....Finally called them...after 4 unsuccessful tries, guy says one item is back ordered (site had said "IN STOCK") and they're waiting to send the complete order....another 12 days goes by....STILL no e-mail/phone call, etc. re: order status..
33 days after placing the order...it arrives....the major item I'd purchased (a mag holder) turned out to be the WRONG ONE...and all 3 items - 2 of which were clothing - were simply thrown into the shipping box....NO PACKING MATERIAL WHATSOEVER!! Luckily, no physical damage, but now I've got the wrong item and I don't want to waste time and more $$ trying to get an exchange/refund.....
Guess where I will NOT be buying any more Glock stuff....?!:steamed:

Wow...I just found this thread. It looks as if I lucked out...so far. I ordered a smooth trigger w/trigger bar, a Scherer 3.5 lb connector, a firing pin safety, and a firing pin safety spring from Top Glock on 31 Dec. The mailman just dropped the order about 30 minutes ago. Everything is there and in good shape. I checked my CC account and the amount charged is correct. In light of this thread, I will re-check frequently to insure that no other charges are posted.

If not for the doubt caused by this thread I would have considered this an almost perfect transaction. Here is the timeline:

31 DEC 09...Internet order placed.

1-3 JAN 10...Top Glock was closed for business.

4 JAN 10...Order shipped by Top Glock.
Received email confirmation of shipping with USPS tracking #.
Charges were applied to my CC by Top Glock.

6 Jan 10 (today)...USPS tracking shows receipt of shipment (0610 hrs) at my
post office.
At 1230 hrs, I found the package in my mail box.

Fingers are crossed that this completes the transaction without any additional charges showing up on my CC account.
