Why? He'll be back under arrest the next day. He's absolutely insane. If we still had asylums like we should, he'd be an inmate.

Good deal, YouTube's been getting boring lately. Looking forward to the body cam footage!

Are we starting an office pool as to how long it will be before his dulcet tones is captured on a body worn camera during an arrest?

Wondering which GT member it is that's been for gone a while. I guess we'll know when he pops back up on Monday.

He used to live in my city. He got thrown out because we have an ordinance that does not allow sex offenders to live in the city limits.

We busted him one time for making a traffic stop on a perimeter road on shopping mall property. He had a an unmarked Chevy Lumina (I think) at the time that had flashing grill lights, a police scanner that looked like a police radio, a code 3 box, and a laptop stand. He brought that same car into a local garage to be serviced. They thought it was an UC county sheriff's car and wanted to know to bill the service to the SO. He said no, he would pay for it and the SO would reimburse him. The garage owner though it kind of weird and notified us.

He had a spare bedroom in his place that was set up like a sheriff's substation, with metal desk, paperwork bins, and LE public affair issued posters on the wall. He had a pile of real police and sheriff's badges. He even had a special issue millennium badge issued by the Orange County Sheriff's Office in 2000. I'm not sure how he got that.

We backed up a federal agency one time while they executed a search warrant after he travelled to a middle eastern country on a fake passport. I don't know if they ever filed any charges on that one.

He is a piece of work and very, very arrogant. I'm gonna predict he won't change. I don't think prison will have taken the starch out of him.

He was doing all sorts of shell games with his money, financing one to buy another sort of thing. His about to be ex apparently had a financial hand in all of it.

The reality is that knuckleheads like this one make the job harder because people legitimately wonder whether the stop or entry is done for real and by real officers and deputies. I would have to wonder how many complaints the local agencies in his area of operations must have received with folks thinking he was an arm of the county and/or city, in the early days. We've had citizens call us to complain about driving behaviors by other agencies or even private companies, thinking it was our folks.

Released and immediately arrested on 9/8/22. Looks like a weak charge though.
