Finally a well engineered Browning Buck Mark Optics Mount

I have probably gone through 3 different picatinny rails on my 1998 Browning Buck Mark.

Previous picatinny rails were just not engineered that well.

I think I finally found one that will last as long as this pistol!

Picked up a new Buckmark today. Put on the Outer Impact mount and some Tandemkross upgrades. Will probably be getting either the Holosun 508V2 or 509T red dot sight for it and the new Uncle Mikes optics cut, range and competition holster for it when they all come out in the next 2-4 weeks.

Nice looking mount. Unlike Weaver and Pic rails it allows of a lower mounting of the sight.

Absolutely!
As in a Glock equipped slide cut RMR, the lower the optic, the better.

Looks like a nice mount.

I've looked at Buck Marks and I would like to put a Vortex Venom on one but I thought that disassembly for cleaning took the dot off zero? Is this true?

Quite possibly. And yes, to do a thorough cleaning I always removed the top strap and slide.
