Okay, now that they are legal in GSSF of the folks who are planning on using them which color do you prefer (Red/Green) and why? Just curious if one color is dominant over the other and reasoning why.

I use the green rods on both of my Glocks and my STI. I find that it works better for me than red or orange.
You should get enough spare rods to try each.

Its all going to depend on your eye and what is picked up faster by you. I think this is going to be totally an individual choice.
I bought the dawson front sight. When they send you the sight they will also send you enough fiber optic to change several times. I shot with both the green and the red and I felt that I picked up the red much faster.
