My go-to backpack has been an Under Armour one for a while now. It's been through thick and thin with me, and I can't complain. However, lately, I've been eyeing some leather backpacks, something like this backpack from Von Baer. And I'm wondering if I should take the leap.
I mean, the leather looks pretty slick. But then I start thinking practically. Will it hold up well? Am I crazy to want one?
Anybody made the switch from a sporty backpack to a leather one and lived to tell the tale?

I have two 5.11 bags; their 72 house and 24 hour. 72 hour is same color as yours and the 24 is ranger green.

A few years back I picked up one of the 5.11 RUSH MOAB 10 sling pack for my everyday use bag. It has really worked well for me. I did add the 5.11 H2O carrier to it.

I use the same bag. 5.11 Rush Moab 10 18L sling. Perfect for what I need. I have it in double tap gray. Love it!

the more i use mine the better i like it.. it has become more supple and i also removed the plastic stiffner from it and to me it is more comfy ymmv
