Had a set on my duty gun and liked them. But had an eye injury and a difficult time keeping front sight focused. Went to the Ameriglos after that. Know quite a few guys at work that use them

I love Fiber optic sights. I have the red on the front and the green on the rear of my G 43. I installed them myself with NO sight pusher. I just followed the Instructions.

 

I have the Dawson Precision competition sights on all of my Glocks. I use the plain black rear and the FO fronts on all.

My *primary* purpose with my Glocks is competition, but some do get carry duty. I'm happy with my sights.

 

I like them. I have the Dawson Precision Glock Fixed Competition Sight Set - Fiber Optic Rear & Fiber Optic Front on my Glock. Not the largest red FO front sight in the world, way more visible to these aging eyes than Glock factory sights.

I use Dawson FO fronts on basically all my pistols, with black rears.

 

I have Dawson's on two pistols and I feel the fiber optic is too small.
I used a Glock 17-4 with HiViz fiber optics for IDPA and liked them.
FTO's have served me well also.
The latest sights I'm using are HiViz Wave H3's.
Fiber optic with tritium for night.
Liking these more every time I use the gun.
Worth looking at IMO.

 

I run suppressor height Dawson’s on my G34. FO in front and black in the rear. I also run an RMR so I swapped to the yellow fiber in front to differentiate it from the RDS dot. The gun doubles as a daily carry and duty weapon so it gets beat on. The sights do what they should and I’ve had no issues.

 

I have a Dawson adjustable rear and fiber optic front on my Glock 41. I tried FO on my carry guns, but went back to black rear and white dot tritium front.

 

I have Dawson Precision red fiber optics on the front of my Glock 17, Glock 30 and my Smith & Wesson M&P 22 compact. I run Dawson black on the rear sights. The two Glocks are my carry guns. The front sights are easy to pick up and the customer support is superior.

Although I really like the Dawson FO sights I am sometimes tempted to put TFO night sights on my 2 Glocks.

 

I installed a dawson FO front sight on my J-frame EDC, and I have had zero issues with it. I had a few people tell me I was crazy to use a FO front sight for a carry gun, but if the pipe ever breaks, I still have the squared off black sight to use so I'm not worried.

 

I used to have a 17L that I installed a Dawson black rear and fiber optic front on. They are quality sights with a good sight picture IMO. Being a 17L, it was never CCW'd, but I'd have no problem carrying them on a more suitable pistol.

 

They’re my favorite sight. Just keep some lite oil on them if using for carry.

 

Does the oil prevent the sights from rusting?

 

I use Warren or Dawson plain Black rear/FO front on all my pistols. I recently tried the Trijicon HD XR’s and went back to Dawsons.

 

Looking at a fiber optic Dawson front sight for my G45, anyone know what height?

Received and installed my new Dawson fiber optic sights yesterday. Let the Loktite cure overnight and just fired a couple mags of ammo through the Glock 48. I love the sights! Huge improvement over the stock sights. Thanks to everyone for your replies.

 

Which set did you get for your G48?

 

My Stacatto C2 came with them and I added them to my CZ P01.
