Hello, sorry if this has been asked before, but I have a couple burning questions.
Looking into the Glock 29, along with some other options, but the 29 is winning out. The only thing that gets me is the cost and availability of ammo meaning I'll probably have to order online but that's not great for practicing. I am interested in converting a Glock 29 to 40s&w for cheap practicing at the range, while still practicing with the 10mm, just less.
I have heard that you can shoot 40s&w out of any Glock 10mm's, some say all you have to do is load and shoot 40, others say you need a conversion barrel, others say good luck it's your hand.
I plan to get a KKM conversion barrel. 40 is shorter, 10mm is longer, I've heard headspacing is an issue and the 40 is just sort of hanging by the extractor.
What else do I have to do to the 29 to make it SAFELY shoot 40? Just a conversion barrel? Or is this not a viable or safe option?
Thanks
