The extractor is in the slide. He may, or may not, need to change the ejector. Some people say they work fine, regardless.

In normal times, I'd say buy a complete trigger housing with ejector on eBay that he can drop in when he swaps, but these days they are probably overpriced like all parts. Looks like they are running $30 + on eBay, thanks to the great gun panic.
