Cabeleas regular prices are on the high side but they have decent sales almost every week. The one near me periodically has 10-15 percent off used guns too and they can have some gems in their used gun room that are fairly priced. Sometimes Cabelas mails out 10 percent or more off any purchase coupons. There are some local gun stores in the area that makes Cabelas every day prices look good. The vast majority of the gun buying public does not shop online for their firearms and use the lowest online prices as what retail stores should sell for.

Cabela’s has the same price as all online gun shops. They price match, no hassle at all. Got my 19x well over $100 off their crazy sticker price.

Be nice and be prepared to show them their own website, it’s a corporate company and corporate policy. I have them price match on every gun part I buy, between Brownells and midway someone is guaranteed to have it cheaper.

Cabelas prices are all over the place. The prices they want for some used guns is totally nonsensical.
Yes, the managers of their “Gun Libraries” have a degree of autonomy when it comes to buying and selling and some are more knowledgeable than others. That’s why you’ll see several run of the mill used Glocks in their online GLs and one is priced at $399 while another model that’s exactly the same may be $699.

Bass Pro rearranged the store so you have to walk down all the aisles to find what you need. They split/separated the same items like brass cases 2 or 3 aisles apart. Cabelas has advertised prices in their flyers that they don't acknowledge in store. They definitely know how to lure.

It is limited but with some research you can get really close. Even the G19x, $689 at Cabela’s, $588 at Bud’s, $599 at Midway. It was $569 at one of the sites when I purchased mine.

Their prices are basically all published MSRP. Between Midway and Brownells nearly everything they sell is available 20%+ off. 2 minutes of convincing the clerk they’re allowed to price match and you’re done. No shipping, no hassle, and the same price.

I personally like purchasing from local merchants such as my small independent gun store. I know I could save $$ by buying online but I like actually examining & holding the gun myself first. The last time I was in Cabellas, they had trigger locks on all the guns & would not remove them for inspection until after you actually bought the gun. No thanks.

I love browsing the Gun Library, they often have interesting older pieces. They are generally grossly overpriced, however. My local Cabela's has a $700 Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless for $1200 for example.
