Perfectly normal... Slap bottom of mag when seated in gun if it bugs you.

Smacking back of mag on palm or other surface and/or bottom mag same thing. Plus, it's fairly normal and not something to be worried about.

you have to put the bullets in a cartridge first, then slip em into the clip thingy

Mine does it also and I hate it, not good in a emergency personnel defense situation, cant believe Glock would have allowed this with as many law agencys that use them.
What does smacking it do ? Make you feel better ? seat the spring or what .

Is the rattling gonna throw your shot off? Didnt think so. Ignore it or buy new mags. Or even try what had been suggested.

This has been a classic issue over the years. Here is why it happens in some Glock mags:

The cartridges in the lower part of the mag have their bases flat against the mag back, so they are riding in a nose-DOWN attitude. The cartridge at the feed lips is riding at a nose-UP attitude. At.some point as the cartridge rises in the mag, it rotates from the down to the up attitude. If a cartridge is resting EXACTLY at that transition point, the nose can flop up and down as the mag is shaken. This flopping causes that rattle. It happens frequently in some mags, and never in others. It just depends on tiny contour differences between inner mag surfaces.

Early Glock cutaway pictures falsely showed the mag.carrying all the cartridges horizontal. Newer cutaways now show the different cartridge angles within the mag.
