Recently while browsing eBay I came across several listings for Swampfox Gen 1 red dots .... Liberty, Justice, Sentinel, etc. The price shown was less than half for what I have seen elsewhere and I suspected that they were counterfeit.

I contacted Swampfox and they did verify that they are indeed counterfeit and that they have actually initiated action to have the listings removed. So....buyer beware, the scammers are out there trying to take your money. If the price looks too good.....be careful.

I learned that a few years ago. Bought an Inforce weapon light for $80 instead of the usual $110.

Shot the gun. The light went out. Sent to Inforce. They said it’s not theirs. Chinese knock off.

I messaged the seller and he didn’t deny it. Offered me $50 back. I called him many names then wrote a bad review. No point. He’ll just start another account.

Some people are pond scum.

Yep. You will see the same with Aimpoint and even with well-known iron sights. Aimpoint has a page on how to spot the fakes, but I mainly just avoid buying those things in Ebay.

They absolutely do. I used it once on a used furby that wasn’t what they said it was.
