I really like my 686, but I here those make decent knock around truck and woods guns.I'm going with Manhurin and Korth.
I'm guessing when shooting 357's that puppy is just a little "snappy" ?
Yes, that would be an extreme understatement.![]()
These are supposed to be pretty good.
This is the answer, though I'd put Korth first.I'm going with Manhurin and Korth.
Very impressive collection. Honest question; are those any more mechanally accurate and/or durable than a GP100 or 686? Or is the criteria for better primarily related to aesthetics: fit, finish, price, etc.I just can't take this any longer. S&W 686? Ruger GP100? Lord have mercy, you've got to be kidding.
What's even funnier are the poll choices. By the way, what does "affordable" have to do with the best DA 357 Mag of all time?
Time to get some real guns in here.
Korth Combat
Manurhin MR73
...and from this country
S&W Registered Magnum
...and a not so close second, the Colt Pyth![]()
:thumbsup:I'm going with Manhurin and Korth.
I hear youI like my 66, miss the 586 though.
Bac, those Manurhins and the Registered Magnums are really something, but to me, “best” applies to guns I would actually fire regularly. Unless they were already well used, I’d give myself an ulcer worrying about putting a ding in those beauties. However, I am glad that you are able to own them and share your photos here.
