Of all the colored frames I think
I like the BFG the best. I am wanting to order a 42 in BFG. Can you talk me into it? Anyone have some BFG's to show off?

No. The BFG is more like foilage green where olive drab has a brown tint, sorta like it's name implies, olive drab which is a Army camo color.

Ever see a Army camo net? the different colors in it? The OD is the greenish/brown color.

Add: that is, the camo netting used in the European theater.....NOT desert, which is totally different

The came out about six months ago. But, initially were NOT in the 42 that I remember anyway.

However, the FBI contract Glock won states, they MUST have available a green (like BFG) and a tan color as well as standard non-reflective black. But, the contract is only the 17/19, a gen 4.5 if you will. They are redisgned gen 4's anyway according to Glock.

I have a BFG 43. I love the color more than any other that Glock has put out.

Why? Are you seriously trying to be incognito with that tiny gun in some bushes? Black hides better in most situations anyway.
I purchased the BFG more because I like the color than any other reason. However, considering I usually wear some shade of brown, khaki, green, tan, etc.... I would argue that black stands out more so than BFG, OD, or FDE -- albeit only marginally so.

Plus I think the whole "color of the gun makes it easier to hide" thing is overblown anyway. I see no reason not to get a gun in a pink or blaze orange if that's what floats your boat, and you think it won't unnecessarily call attention to your gun.

Everyone has their own likes. I like the look of some of the different available colors. Provides a bit of variety and not so boring. Marketing at its best. It does seem to be working. From the standpoint of manufacturers, the market is saturated with good reliable products that they have to find new selling points. Colors are working.

No. Not FG at all...

I like the color a lot (looks good). Typically, the OD color Glock's are the rarest and tend to hold their value the best.
I think that is because it is generally recognized that the OD ones are the most accurate.
