Just bought one in black. Good price. (for these times) 484.89. Comes optic ready. A multitude of plates for mounting various optics. I love the clean break on the trigger. 17 round and 19 round mags. Interchangeable backstraps. Changed very easily. Very thin, light gun. Especially for a full size frame. It's my first full size. I've always gotten compact models. (2 19s, 44, 30sf, rex zero 1 cp)

Anyway, I'm pleased with the purchase, though won't be able to head to the range for 2 weeks. So I'm wondering if anyone else has one, or what they think of them. I love my rex zero 1 compact. Excellent build quality and reliability in my experience. Not picky at all with ammo. So it made me confident in the Arex company putting out some quality products.

UPDATE 5/3/21: i took my delta to the range and was a little disappointed. the gun felt jagged to shoot. just everywhere i held the gun, it seemed to bite into my hand. the trigger too. the trigger had a clean break, but didn't feel great to pull or reset. seemed better when dry firing. it was def accurate, but didn't feel as soft to shoot as my 19 for example. also, it had 4 failures to fire. seemed like light primer strikes. but, it's green wolf steel cased stuff, which in my experience has notoriously hard primers. but even given that, my 19 and rex zero 1 have been able to chew through that ammo without the same FTF. i have no doubt if i'd been firing better ammo, the delta wouldn't have had any hiccups with the failures. but either way, the delta L just seems like a lesser glock. not as nice to shoot, and maybe pickier with ammo.

I've spent the last year shooting a lot of non glocks, and I've finally come back around. I've not found anything as ergonomically nice to shoot for me, and as reliable. the rex zero 1 has been an absolute tank and very reliable, but it's huge, even as a compact, and very wide in the grip. and then everything else has been less reliable and less comfortable to shoot. the delta L included. i've just come to realize, glock's the one for me.

I’d like to find one. I think that AREX makes a heck of a gun for the money.

I have one. Got one when it first came out. A great gun. Absolutely flawless so far. Global ordnance hasn't brought over extra mags for the L version yet. They are having a hard time keeping the M version in stock.

These are the first 10 rounds while zeroing the optic at 25 yards.

i'm considering getting an M version as well for carry, instead of my 19. same number of rounds, but thinner and lighter. and then someday when 43xrail version are available and affordable, i'll get one of those with shield 15 rounders for carry.

I've never been so wrong about my first impression with a handgun, you can see a few post earlier I was not impressed with the Delta Gen 2..However for some reason when I would go back to gun shop it would call to me so I would pick it up and sure enough it completely grew on me.

What I first mistook for cheap feel was just a lightweight pistol I guess it's light weight took me off guard and I completely underestimated it. I should have looked at it a little closer and understood it's thin slide but initially I did not do that and dismissed it, later after handling it some more and looking over it's specs I changed my impression on it.

So I bought one of course my curiosity completely got the best of me... I chose the Delta M and now I have to admit it is awesome and that is no exaggeration. The "X" model was available for sale as well but I chose this M model. If what I've seen is correct the FCU is modular so you can swap out frames if you choose to, I will look into this some more but it seems like I can make this M model an X model just by getting that X frame.

At the range it is a flat shooter and very accurate and easy to shoot. It is amazing all the extras you get with it 5 different optic plate adapters with hardware and one 15rd mag and one 17rd mag and 4 different back straps plus a nice cleaning kit and more.

It has Sig sights on it I'm not sure if the front sight is a #6 or #8 but I've emailed Arex to find out and once I get a reply I will order an Ameriglo front sight or something similar and I will keep the rear sight factory it's a really good designed blacked out rear. If I don't get a reply quickly I will remove the front sight and measure myself.

This Delta M Gen 2 isn't much bigger than my 365XL, maybe a tad bit longer slide but weight and width are similar. I've put 400rds through it without any issues and it gets better and better every magazine.

I believe the Delta Gen 2 will make a great carry gun much like a G19 but thinner and almost 5oz. lighter weight. I believe the size is more similar to the 365XL than the G19, at least carrying it should be more similar to the XL.

Here is some apology pics to the Delta M, sorry for being so wrong originally but I'm glad I figured it out.

If your interested in changing just the front factory sight I took it off and measured it at .220" which is a #8 in Sig size. I really like the the factory rear so I will replace only the front with an Ameriglo I dot #8. Also the factory front blade width is .145" so any aftermarket .150" or thinner should work just fine with the factory rear, I pretty sure the Ameriglo is .140" width so it should be about perfect.

Lol..I have the M and like it so much I'm going to get the L. I put 200 more rounds through the M today and just love it, it's going to be my carry gun.

I guess you could consider me a Glock fanboy and I like the 365 platform but besides that no other pistols have I liked as much as the Arex Delta Gen 2. It's a sleeper and probably the best deal out there you get a lot for your money.

Apparently the Arex Delta L/M pistols can use CZ P-10 F/C magazines, which is nice.

So...
Cheaper, thinner, and lighter than Glock, with plenty of holsters, sights and magazines available, plus modular grip frames. That should be a winning combination as long as the pistols shoot well.
Nice to hear about the CZ mags and my Delta M is a tack driver especially after I put the back strap on that is one size larger than what it came with from factory, one size bigger adds some palm swell.

The Ameriglo #8 front went in nice. Also like I shown a couple post above I measured the factory front as a #8 and also received an email back from Arex and they confirmed the front is indeed a Sig #8.

I really liked the factory point of aim and because I was keeping the factory rear I wanted to be certain the Ameriglo front was the same height as the sight I replaced and this is why I keep talking about it being a size #8.

I did not even use my sight pusher just a portable table top vice with hammer and punch and they swapped out very easy but still nice and snug.

Ameriglo pic... Sorry for the focus but I wanted the rear channel and front sight to be as real as possible to what the sight view actually looks like in person. The pic shows just about exactly how the front sight width looks for real.

The red cocked firing pin indicator really stands out in this pic and if you are wondering while shooting in real life I don't even recall noticing it. I was curious about this myself before I bought it but I quickly realized once I got to the range it's not an issue.

I've read comments around the web Delta Gen 2 owners using Glock firing pin springs so here is a pic on left side is Arex spring and spring cups with firing pin and on the right is OEM Glock spring.

I measured the diameter of the firing pin spring with calipers and it is identical to Glock and I also installed a OEM Glock spring and also tried some aftermarket springs and it seems like yes indeed they will work.

In short you can swap out the Arex firing pin spring for whatever type of Glock spring if your into that. I read one owner is using a 4# spring with no issues, not sure I would go that low but I would like to try the OEM Glock 5.5# spring and a 5# spring. I haven't found any info on what the weight is on the Arex OEM spring but I think it could be 6# or more, that is just a guess looking at it's length.

One other note I put the spring back on the firing pin and tried the Glock spring cups and it seems like they would work in a pinch. Again I measured the spring cups and they have the same diameter but the Arex cups have a little more length so I'm not certain but I do think the Glock cups would work if needed.

Next is the recoil spring and guide rod the diameter matches with the Glock gen 3 spring and seems about the same length. I have not played with the guide rod springs but it is very likey you could also swap the Arex recoil spring with those made for Glock gen 3.

The Arex recoil spring and guide rod disassemble much like a firing pin assembly with spring cups as you can see in the pic below I really like this design, the Glock recoil spring is on the right and Arex on left.

it's def a less comfortable gun to shoot. trigger and grip bite into my hands and fingers. after a couple years of experimentation with other brands, it's become really clear to me that glocks are not only of a high quality and reliable, but also surprisingly ergonomic. shooting my 19s and 30 compared to my delta or rex zero 1 or g2c or g3c... it's very noticeable. it's like buttah!!! genuinely softer to shoot in the hand. no bite on my fingers or hands anywhere.

trying other brands brought me back to glock, after i'd taken them for granted. no doubt other brands can approximate. but everything i've tested has been lacking in some area compared to the glock, whether it's ergonomics or reliability, etc.

some of these other brands or models really are only viable if you can't afford a glock or just can't get access to one. but if you can, you discover the glock's generally superior, if not by a lot, then sometimes just a little.
