I'm needing to get one of them.

Re-read what I wrote (preferably while not intoxicated) and try again, my friend.Who's ranting besides you? You're not even making sense. 33% of the ohones out there are Iphones with glass screens yet she has never had anyone come in with a cracked droid screen. By your logic, 66% of the cracked screens should be droids but they're not. BTW, my boss broke her Iphone screen, twice.
Dud, I don't drink and I did read what you wrote. You said I was ranting. You said there are more Iphone scrren breakages than droids because droids outnumber Iphones 2:1.:upeyes:Re-read what I wrote (preferably while not intoxicated) and try again, my friend.

You must work for the Federal Reserve with your command of statistics. She doesn't see ANY broken droid screens. Not that it has never happened, but she has never had one come in to her and she sees Iphone screens broken on a daily basis even though they are less than a majority of the the phones in use (according to you).No....I said there are way more iphones than any one android model (Android has more market share but its split amongst 50-someodd phones). So naturally you would see more of them being broken. This really isn't complicated.
I really don't know how to make this any simpler for you without breaking out the crayons. You must work for the Federal Reserve with your command of statistics. You're correct, it's really not that complicated. I offered anectdotal evidence that Iphone screens are fragile. You offered an explanation based on some statistical theory of yours that since Iphones make up a plurality of the phones out there, they should be the only ones with a constant problem of screen breakages.:faint:
I couldn't decide on Android or iPhone for my next upgrade. You just made my decision. :supergrin:For MP3's you can just drag and drop them into your music folder on the phone. Any music player app will find them. Just be sure to organize them in Artist > Album trees and have them properly tagged before import.
Okay, you win:upeyes:I really don't know how to make this any simpler for you without breaking out the crayons.
First, I said there would be more of them showing up broken, not they'd be the only ones. Words mean things.
Here's a list of android phones by market share: http://www.appbrain.com/stats/top-android-phones
Since you seem so fond of them, the Droid X shows up on the list with 1.7%....so iphones outnumber them about 16 to 1. Even the top of the list Galaxy S2 is outnumbered ~3:1. Alot more of them = more showing up broken.
Finally and more relevant to the thread overall, screens aren't magic and all of them are pretty durable, but careless use will break either one. Even a cheap case is money well spent.
I use a program called doubletwist on my HTC Evo which if you get the paid version will also allow you to sync to your desktop much like itunes does. I just use the free version as a player and organizer, it works great. The stock audio player is ok but there are so many other better options out there.Question for droid users: how do you manage your mp3s? Is there software like iTunes that you must use?
