Are my night sights dim?

Just installed a brand new pair of meprolight tritium night sights, yellow rear and green front. Is this how bright they're supposed to be? They seem dim to me, but this is my first pair of night sights so I have no other sights to compare it to. First two pictures are in pitch black, third is in low light.

No, unfortunately not. Only a lot number as indicated by the warranty card. There is nothing anywhere on the packaging that would hint at a date produced. The warranty LTD card is dated at 1990, but I think thats just for the policy.
