Am I the only one who hates optic slide cuts on pistols when I have no intention of mounting an optic? There are a couple of new pistols out right now that I would love to own but will not because manufacturer does not offer them without slide cut. I would definitely be interested in the Hellcat Pro as well as the new P365 Macro, but will not buy either unless they offer non slide cut version. I guess I'm just a minimalist. I do not like gadgets and gizmos I do not intend to use. I went as far as building my own P365X using my P365 Slide. I also paid to get a non cut slide from Sig to go on my P320X Compact then sold the X Slide with the cut.

I don't mind them at all. I don't like gadgets and gizmos that I never intend to use, like forward slide serrations, which I hate, but the little blank plate for optical sights is hardly even noticeable and more likely than not adds to the resale value of the gun.
