Adding the Holosun SCS Carry to my 43x MOS, which plate & Sights?

Hey guys. I’ve converted 2/3 optic ready firearms I have to the Holosun SCS. The last one will hopefully be my 43x. I went on Night Fisions website and they recommend .290 and .297 height sights for a lower 1/3 co witness. I see CHPWS and DPP make plates for the 43x and the SCS/ECS. Night Fision states that the ECS and SCS are the same height to the glass so the same height sights will work on either. Do you recommend the DPP or CHPWS plates or just the stock Holosun adapter plate? Any other sights to recommend? Thanks!

I ordered the DPP titanium (titanium) plate just to have on hand as well as the SCS carry and a set of night fision 290-297 sights. Is the holosun plate aluminum? I know the DPP plate comes with the correct sized screws but I more so ordered it to see which plate fit tighter to the slide Nubs themselves.

Sights are fitted, awaiting optic. The reason I asked about the plate was due to seeing posts and reviews of people having aluminum plates and them getting ovalized at the lugs. rather than have to order a plate when I get the optic I figured I’d get ahead of the game and return the plate if need be. I figured the holosun plate didn’t fit tight at the lugs and may move around a bit if there was any play on the back screws.

Well, for anybody wondering… the stock holosun plate does two things better than the aftermarket DPP Titanium plate. First, the stock plate has four locating lugs that interface with the bottom of the optic. The DPP has two. Second, the stock plate covers the entire bottom of the optic (it overhangs the sides of the slide a tiny bit). The DPP fits the width of the slide and doesn’t cover the entire bottom of the optic. However, the stock plate does have some slight movement when mounted over the RMSc lugs on the slide. The DPP was a press fit, very good fit and finish as well. If the DPP has the extra locating lugs and was wider it would have been a direct replacement if not “better” fitment wise than stock. I had to file down the extractor side screw as well. I took my Shield RMSc and put one of the stock screws in it. Took a digital caliper and used the depth gauge to measure from the bottom of the screw to the bottom of the optic. Locked that in and filed until the same was done on the holosun. The slide lock side screw was able to be installed at full length.
